Arsenal, Berlin - 11.04 um 19 Uhr

FILMMAKER'S CHOICE, ARSENAL KINO , BERLIN

In HULLUMEELSUS (Wahnsinn, Kaljo Kiisk, 1968) sucht

Nightmare and dream in Estonian films. Animations and madness allowed
creative freedom during Soviet times. Two animations, “Time out“ by Priit Pärn
and “Pôrgu” by Rein Raamat as well as fiction film „Hullumeelsus“by Kaljo Kiisk
are examples of questioning totalitarism in a totalitarian system.
