VIDEOART AT MIDNIGHT EDITION

N° 5: Eléonore de Montesquiou KINOZAL

2010, 22:00 min, Ed. 40 (+10 artist proofs)

"For more then three years we (Ivo Wessel and Olaf Stüber) have been showing video art on the big screen of the legendary Babylon Film Theatre in Berlin-Mitte – once the month on a Friday always at midnight. We call the series: VIDEOART AT MIDNIGHT.

Each night is dedicated to one artist. The artist is attending – it is his night. Often we have had the chance to celebrate premiers and some times live acts accompanying the video works (performances, concerts, …). This year we already have been showing works by Omer Fast, Christian Jankowski, Keren Cytter and Clemens von Wedemeyer.

Videoart at Midnight meanwhile has become a little cult event, which attracts an audience of up to 300 people on some evenings and a circle of more then 2,000 friends on facebook (http://www.videoart-at-midnight.info/ and https://www.facebook.com/videoartatmidnight)

Now we are happy to announce N° 5 of our VIDEOART AT MIDNIGHT EDITION: Eléonore de Montesquiou KINOZAL (please scroll down).

Why hold a camera? Are there cinema families ? In "Cinemafia", Jean Rouch, Joris Ivens and Henri Storck discuss these issues. "Pas tout" by Isabelle Prim and Ludovic Burel is a contemporary family film. In the 68-70s, the Groups Medvedkine in France create a basis of shared political experiences. « Les trois quarts de la vie" was directed by young workers of Peugeot factory with Chris Marker.

Kolmapäev, 21. märts kell 19 Hobuveski (Lai 47)

KOLM LUGU

„Üht muinasjuttu muusikas ma kuulen“ on eestlasele tuttav fraas, ent kuidas siiski anda edasi muinasjuttu või mõnd teistsugust kirjanduslikku narratiivi muusikas, kui keegi laval ei jutusta? Heliloojad Tatjana Kozova, Liisa Hirsch ja Kristjan Kõrver on selle üle pikalt pead murdnud, abiks lavastaja Ott Aardam ja visuaalkunstnike tandem.
Kavas:
Liisa Hirsch (1984)- „Sinise koera silmad“ / Ojos de perro azul (2012, esiettekanne) Gabriel García Márquez’i samanimelise novelli ainetel
Kristjan Kõrver (1976) – II ja III peatükk muinasjutust „Raud-Ants“ (2012, esiettekanne) Jacob ja Wilhelm Grimmi samanimelise muinasjutu ainetel
Tatjana Kozlova (1977) – „Kolm sulekest“ (2012, esiettekanne) Jacob ja Wilhelm Grimmi samanimelise muinasjutu ainetel

The Phanton Museum (animation, Grande-Bretagne, 2003, 11’30), Réal. : Stephen et Timothy Quay
